MITCHUMM Industries ™, the brand with the palm trees is a tribute to California and the American actor Robert Mitchum. The brand was born in 1976 on the West Coast in Manhattan Beach, near Los Angeles. Here began the production of t-shirts and printed swimwear with exclusive and colorful designs, inspired by the typically Californian sports like surfing, windsurfing, skateboarding, mountain biking and beach volleyball. The success was immediate and within a few seasons, the brand is imported in Italy, Lake of Como, where the collection was expanded by the inclusion of a variety of shirts and accessories, and where has been opened two flagship stores. In 2006 the meeting between Alessandro Tino (1983) and MITCHUMM it's an explosion thanks to his extraordinary spontaneity. The look is always turned to the United States, but the design made in Italy, the love for details, richness colors, the attention to details, quality of materials carefully selected from the best and most importants Italian and English frabrics manufacturers, an accurate packaging and vintage '80s designs that have always distinguished the brand, get a new life. The young designer, now creative director, wanted to experience an exciting blend of tradition and originality, playing with the security of a brand that has over thirty years and its own strong identity.
